Sinds enkele maanden zijn mijn filmrecensies te lezen op de website http://filmblogs.nl. Op deze verzamelsite voor Nederlandse filmblogs zijn al een tijdje twee ‘estafette races’ aan de gang. De ene race draait om de beste acteurs, de andere, je raadt het al, om de beste actrices. Afgelopen week werd ik door de vorige twee deelnemers gevraagd het stokje over te nemen voor de estafette race van de acteurs. Welke acteur voeg ik toe, en wie moet helaas het veld ruimen?
Deze en vorige week heb ik de eerste twee delen bekeken van wat waarschijnlijk de beste serie Westerns is die er bestaat: de zogeheten Dollar-trilogie van de bekende klassieke regisseur Sergio Leone. Tussen 1964 en 1966 maakte hij achtereenvolgens A Fistful of Dollars, For a few dollars more en, naar ik meen de beste en bekendste western die er is, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
