Of toch wel? De inspiratie was waarschijnlijk op voor de makers van deze romantische spionagekomedie, die te gemakzuchtig leunen op de sterrenstatus en charmes van Chris Evans en Ana de Armas.
Je kunt je derde date voorzichtiger plannen: na een online match en twee afspraakjes met Khani besluit Matt dat de tijd rijp is voor een vliegvakantie. Het waargebeurde vervolg laat zich met een blik op de vertrekmaand eenvoudig raden. Longest Third Date speelt zich af tijdens de eerste grote coronalockdown van voorjaar 2020, als de eerste retourvlucht uit Costa Rica pas in juni blijkt te vertrekken. Dankzij Matts talrijke vlogopnames is er genoeg om op terug te kijken. Helaas is dat in deze documentaire direct ook het probleem.
