Normaliter schrijf ik graag afgewogen recensies waarin ik een film inkader en mijn best doe positieve punten en punten van kritiek de balans te geven die ze verdienen. Het is niet per se mijn taak om te beoordelen of ik daar ook daadwerkelijk in slaag, maar ik kan wel toegeven dat ik soms kritischer (of negatiever) ben in de wandelgangen dan ik overkom op papier. Dat komt mede omdat ik er een hekel aan heb een film in drie zinnen de grond in te boren voor lezers die mij in menig geval verder niet zullen kennen.
