Ruim vijftig jaar later is het verhaal van een pioniersgezin in het Amerikaanse westen op commerciële zenders minstens zo gretig herhaald als het bombastische The A-Team. Het is dus best te begrijpen dat Netflix de tijd rijp achtte om een nieuwe generatie met de familie Ingalls te laten kennismaken. Toch zorgt deze reboot voor gemengde gevoelens.
